Murals in BGC

mu·ral
myo͝orəl/

noun: mural; plural noun: murals
a painting or other work of art executed directly on a wall.

Bonifacio Global City (BGC) is a city-wide mural museum. I have seen some of the street arts before but did not paid much attention to them, until I saw Kate Alvarez’ post. Seeing the various public art made me want to go mural hunting.
Since today is a holiday, I saw an opportunity and asked my husband to go ‘hunting’ with me.

The murals are made by international and local artists as part of ArtBGC Festival held May 2015 and last May 2016. We checked-out the ArtBGC site and found the Mural Map, pretty helpful in locating the mural sites 😉

We started about 5:30 PM and finished about 7PM and went straight to BGC Stopover for some Genki Sushi (because I got hungry ;P).

Here are some of the murals that we found. There are still a lot to explore.

  1. Thanks for the link-back, Ann! There are many new murals that were launched just recently, and it’s great to see that you photographed them. I’m planning to do a part 2 soon because I haven’t seen the new ones yet. 🙂

    • Hi Kate! Thanks so much for checking my blog *kilig*
